Tanba-Yaki
Tanba ware originated around 800 years ago and has played an important role in people's daily lives ever since. In recent years, it has also become sought-after as a work of art. It is characterised by its simplicity and lack of decorative elements. It is mainly crockery for everyday use, made with the aim of being part of daily life.
Tanba-yaki pottery is made using practical knowledge of daily life so that the finished product is easy to use and gives a feeling of warmth, earth and people when touched.
