Hagi-yaki
Hagi ceramics were initially strongly influenced by Korean influences, and were later inspired by the design of Raku ceramics and refined with new glazes. They are characterized by very soft clay, which absorbs moisture when drinking tea or sake and thus changes a little with each use.The ceramic style was developed in the town of Hagi, west of Tokyo.
